Daiwa Capital Markets appoints Sriram Iyer as Head of Sales Trading in India

>Daiwa Capital Markets, a leading investment bank, today announced the appointment of - Sriram Iyer, Executive Director and Head of Sales Trading. He will be reporting into India Equity Management and John Mar, the Regional Head of Sales trading based in Hong Kong.

Iyer will be leading the Sales Trading and Dealing of equities to Institutional Investors. His broader role will be to strengthen the team through his wide network of relationships and increase the market share for Daiwa in India. Iyer brings with him over 16 years of experience in the area of dealing / sales trading. His last assignment was with Antique Stock Broking. He has spent almost a decade with Kotak Securities, where he was the Head of Sales Trading and Dealing. His experience with UBS Securities and SG Securities Asia, will further the FII business for Daiwa India.
