Glodyne is proud to associate with UIDAI's launch of first set of 'Aadhar' numbers

Glodyne Technoserve Limited, a leading player in technology infrastructure management services (Technology IMS), is proud to associate with the UIDAI in the launch of the first set of ‘Aadhar’ numbers in the Country from the Tembhli village of Nandurbar District, Maharashtra.

The UID ‘Aadhar’ numbers were launched today by the Honorable Prime Minister of India, Dr. Manmohan Singh, in the presence of UPA Chairperson, Smt Sonia Gandhi, and UIDAI Chairman Shri Nandan Nilekani. Tembhli with a population of 1,098 will become the first 'Aadhaar' village in the country. Five women and three children were among the ten who received the 12-digit number Unique Identification Number, which will be the link to all demographic details.

The UID implementation apart from name, address and other KYR details, also requires capturing of ten fingerprints, iris scan and facial photograph which is then stored against a unique number. The project will ensure better access of government schemes and programmes to the people.
