Idea launches innovative 'Music Recharge' service in AP

For the first time in AP, mobile users can now Recharge & Listen to their favorite Telugu and Hindi songs, on the go!

Hyderabad, September 19th, 2011: Idea Cellular, India’s 3rd largest mobile operator has launched an innovative ‘Music Recharge’ service for its mobile users in Andhra Pradesh. Launched for the first time in AP, the new VAS service, ‘Music Recharge’ enables mobile subscribers to listen and enjoy their favorite Telugu and Hindi music, on all types of handsets, and as per their convenience.

Idea users can opt for Music Recharge service by availing a special voucher priced at just Rs. 22. After recharging, Idea users can call ‘54321’ to listen to their favorite songs. As a special promotional offer for a limited period, Idea is offering 500 minutes of Music listening, absolutely free. Idea’s music bank has close to 1 Lakh songs for the user to choose from. Irrespective of the handset in use, Idea subscribers can access this unique service from anywhere, anytime.

This is a first-of-its-kind Music based VAS service which is recharge based, thus allowing the user the flexibility to access the service as per his/her convenience. Unlike many other Caller Tunes and Dialer Tone packs, the Music Recharge pack does not get auto-renewed until the user opts for a recharge of the service thereby making it very customer friendly.
