- Net sales increased by 235.54% to Rs. 65.24 cr.
- PAT increased by 406.36% to Rs. 7.63 cr.
- EPS increased by 355.17% to Rs. 5.28
India’s largest manufacturer of Toothbrushes with an installed capacity of 270 Million toothbrushes per annum, JHS Svendgaard Laboratories Ltd, today reported a four times increase in quarterly profit & tremendous increase in revenue numbers with a 183.51% rise in revenue and a massive 449.22% jump in the net profit for the quarter ended September 30th, 2010.
While the company saw its net profit touching Rs. 4.37 cr for 2nd Quarter, the net sales increased by nearly 184 per cent to Rs 34.25 cr in the reporting quarter.
The Managing Director, Mr. Nikhil Nanda, JHS Svendgaard Laboratories Ltd. commenting on the performance said, “We are seeing a strong demand environment across our industry verticals. Due to this we have gained substantially over the past few months which have helped us expand our revenue and profit base. We expect that the same trend will continue & hope to see a good set of numbers in the next quarter as well. The company has tied up with an MNC amongst world’s largest FMCG manufacturer, to manufacture detergent. JHS has set up 1,10,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art technology plant with an investment of Rs. 50 cr investment in Kalaamb, Himachal Pradesh, to exclusively manufacture detergents for the MNC. We expect this move to boost more demand from our customers. We hope to receive the shareholders support in future as well.”
