Q4 FY 12 Performance:

  • Net Profit  at Rs. 6.31 crore; jumps  118.34% Y-o-Y
  • Revenue at Rs.98.01 crore; rose 20.55% Y-o-Y
  • EBIDTA at Rs 16.85 crore; up 73.00% Y-o-Y
  • EPS at Rs 5.38 as against Rs 3.06 in Q4FY11

FY 11 / FY 12 Performance:

  • Net Profit at Rs. 22.43 crore; jumps 164.20%
  • Revenue at Rs. 408.28 crore; rose 60 % from Rs.255.20 crore.
  • EBIDTA at Rs. 62.97 crore; up 92.86%
  • EPS at Rs. 19.12 as against Rs 8.99 in FY11
  • Dividend of 30% (Rs.3/- per share)

Pitti Laminations Ltd, one of the largest manufacturers of electrical stampings and laminations in India announced 118.34% jump in net profit for their fourth quarter ended March 31st, 2012 to Rs 6.31 crore as against Rs 2.89 crore in the corresponding quarter ending March 31st, 2011

Revenue for the quarter rose 20.55% to Rs 98.01 crore from Rs 81.30 crore. The EPS stood at Rs 5.38 as against Rs 3.06 in Q4FY11.

The YoY revenue for FY12 jumped to 59.98% to Rs 408.28 crore from Rs 255.20 crore. The Net Profit of the Company during the period rose 164.19% to Rs 22.43 crore as against Rs 8.49 crore in March 31st, 2011. EPS stood at Rs 19.12. as against Rs 8.99.

The Board of Directors have recommended a dividend of 30 % (Rs. 3/- per share)

Commenting on the Company's performance Shri Sharad B Pitti, Chairman and Managing Director, Pitti Laminations Ltd said, "We are extremely pleased as Pitti Laminations has clocked the highest revenue in the 25th year of manufacturing. We are confident of sustaining this growth".

About Pitti Laminations Ltd:
The Hyderabad-based Pitti Laminations Ltd started production in 1987 and is engaged in manufacturing of electrical laminations for use in all types of motors for a wide spectrum of applications, alternators, DC machines, railway lighting alternators etc.

The company has two manufacturing facilities located in 50 km radius of Hyderabad and is the first from the lamination industry to achieve ISO 9002 certification by BVQI of U.K. in October 1993. One of the plants has capacity of 10000 Tons per annum in operation while the second plant is of 20000 Tons per annum capacity.

The company manufactures electrical laminations up to a diameter of 1300 mm (51") for application in industrial motors, DC machines, alternators, traction motors, pumps, train lighting generators, aeronautics, medical diagnostics equipments, windmill generators, laminations for specialised applications, die-cast rotors, assembled stators and built-up rotors duly balanced. It produces small laminations via High Speed Press for compressors.

The company also manufactures Press tools, Progressive tools, Jigs, Fixtures to customer requirements.
