Polo for Charity, Amity Polo Cup begins at Jaipur Polo Ground
The eagerly awaited annual Polo tournament, Amity Polo Cup begins today at Jaipur Polo Grounds with the first match played between Cavalry Team Jindal Polo and ASC Navy teams.
Amity Polo Cup Tournament is a five days long mega event. Amity Polo Cup better known as Polo for charity is organized for the support of underprivileged girl children.
This year the tournament was inaugurated by Mr. Atul Chauhan, President, Ritnand Balved Education Foundation, Mrs. Pooja Chauhan Vice Chairperson, Amity Humanity Foundation, Maj. Gen. K.Jai Singh, Vice Chancellor, Amity University Uttar Pradesh. .
The inaugural match of the Amity Polo Cup was contested between Cavalry Team Jindal and ASC - Navy in which the former scored 11 goals and the team of ASC-Navy scored 4 goals.
The Exhibition match and the Finals will be played on February 13, 2011.
