The boat carrying 10 fishermen suddenly capsized as it was anchoring in the sea near Wenling, Taizhou City,the local maritime bureau said.
As of today's morning, six of them have been rescued, and one died, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.
Three of those rescued were sent to a hospital for treatment.
The search for the remaining four fishermen is underway, the report said.
