10 IAS officers shuffled in UP

In an administrative reshuffle, the Uttar Pradesh government today transferred 10 IAS officers appointing Secretary Culture and Tourism Sanjiv Saran as the new Commissioner of Lucknow.
Principal Secretary, Higher Education, T Venktesh will be the new Commissioner of Aligarh, an official spokesman said here.
Additional Managing Director, UPSRTC, Sudhir Kumar Dixit has been sent to the Secretariat as Special Secretary, he said.
Rajesh Kumar, awaiting posting order, will replace him, the spokesman said adding Satyajit Thakur has been appointed Principal Secetary, Khadi Gramodyog.
Additional Development Commissioner, Kanpur, Ved Prakash will take over as administrator Ramganga Command Project in the industrial city.
Principal Secretary, Housing and Urban Planning, Sadakant has been given additional charge of the Information Department.
Principal Secretary, Mining, IT and Electronics, Jevesh Nandan will also hold the additional charge of NEDA, Lucknow, the spokesman said.
