SSP Onkar Singh said today that the accused, identified as one Lokesh (18), allegedly lured the girl to his place on Wednesday night and raped her.
The complaint in the matter was registered yesterday by the girl's father, who works in a factory in Mohakampur.
A case under Section 377 of IPC and POCSO Act has been registered although no arrests have been made so far in connection with the complaint, police said, adding that efforts are on to nab the accused.
