The prosecution case was that Bhupendra Sing Bisht was arrested on charges of raping the daughter of the officer of Defence Service Staff College, where he was working as an attendant, on July 19, 2012.
The girl's mother came to know about the incident when she found her daughter crying and bleeding and immediately lodged a complaint with Wellington police, based on which Bisht was arrested.
Mahila court judge M Sarvamangala sentenced Bisht to 10 years RI for the crime and also imposed a fine of Rs 5,000, failing which, he will have to undergo another one year of RI.
