113 cases registered, goods worth rs 12 crore seized

Over 100 cases have been registered and goods worth Rs 12 crore seized for alleged violation of Packaged Commodities Act, officials said.

The Department of Legal Metrologyeffected the seizure and registered 113 cases during a special drive on multi-national company godowns including few leading e-commerce players here today.

The drive was conducted following several complaints from consumers, an official release said.
