As many as 115 pilgrims from Rajasthan, who were stranded in flood-devastated Uttarakhand, returned here today by a special flight.
Sixteen more pilgrims, stuck in Rishikesh, were returning to the state by road, said Kuldeep Ranka, Principal Secretary, Calamity and Relief Department.
So far, nearly 3,800 pilgrims, hailing from Rajasthan, had returned to the state, he said.
Today's batch of stranded people, who arrived here by a Jet Airways flight, included 42 from Jaipur, 13 from Kota and nine each from Dausa and Sardarshahar, Ranka said.
Mahesh Joshi, Congress MP, and Rajasthan Minister Rajendra Pareek, who were supervising rescue and relief operations in calamity-hit Uttarakhand, had also returned, he said.
