Around 11,000 errant drivers have had their licences seized in the city in the 11 days following the implementation of a Supreme Court-appointed panel's instructions on road safety.

"So far, 11,017 licences of drivers who have violated traffic rules have been seized by Delhi Traffic Police since December 15 under instruction from the Supreme Court's committee on road safety," said Special Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Muktesh Chander.
