Two women identified as Rakha Devi and Bhagwatiya Devi got trapped in rubble after the houses collapsed due to subsidence of land, an official said.
A rescue team of Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) reached the spot immediately and rescued them, the official said.
They were at the BCCL Central Hospital and were out f danger, he said.
The Deputy Commissioner of Dhanbad, A Dodde and Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Manoj Ratan Chothe along with other police and administrative officials reached the spot and monitored the rescue operation.
