12-kg landmine recovered
Sukma district police officials told PTI over telephone that a joint team of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and District Force (DF) today recovered the landmines planted by Naxals near Sunnamguda village.
According to officials, the joint team of security personnel had been sent to Sunnamguda and Banda villages for area domination exercise, when they received information about the landmines.
The police have launched a search for the Naxals responsible for planting the landmine.
