allegedly gangraped by three persons in Urwan village, triggering protests by locals who blocked traffic and torched the nearby Sakaldiha Tehsil office today.
The incident took place yesterday and an FIR has been registered against three persons on the complaint of the girl, Superintendent of Police Sharad Sachan said.
Agitated over the incident, locals set afire the Sakaldiha Tehsil office and blocked traffic movement on Sakaldiha-Chandauli road.
The situation was brought under control by the police and the blaze doused by the fire brigade team.
Adequate force has been deployed in the area to prevent any untoward incident.
