13 missing in landslides in China

Thirteen people have been missing due to two separate landslides in northwest China.
A rain-triggered landslide hit Nanyu village, Niangniangba township, Qinzhou district of Tianshui city in Gansu province yesterday.
Four persons have been rescued but nine others remain buried, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.
In another landslide in neighbouring Yongguang village yesterday, four persons are still missing, the report said.
Roads linking the seat of Niangniangba township to the places where the landslides took place were damaged by floods.
Rescue work is still underway, the report said.
