13-yr-old girl raped by father

A 13-year-ld girl was allegedly raped by her father at their residence in Laxminagar colony here, police said.
In the incident which took place on Thursday, the victim was allegedly raped and assaulted by her father while she was alone at home, police said.
The victim's mother lodged an FIR against her husband, Raghuveer, and a case was registered under Sections 307 and 376 of IPC and also under the provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO), police added.
In another incident, which was reported yesterday, a minor girl, also 13, was allegedly raped by her landlord at Madaru village, police said.

The girl was allegedly raped on September 4. Her parents work as labourers at a construction site, police said.
The accused landlord, Bhagwan Sahay, is absconding, they added.
A case under Section 376 of IPC and Section 6 of POCSO has been registered in the matter, police said.
