15 persons booked for attack on private hospital staff

A case has been registered against 15 persons in connection with an alleged attack on a doctor and 5 other staff of a private hospital here.
The accused have been identified and they would soon be arrested, police said.
A group of persons had yesterday brought a man injured in a road accident to Attukal Devi Institute of Medical Sciences and demanded that he be examined immediately.
Alleging delay in attending to the patient, they had attacked a doctor and some hospital staff, including nurses, the hospital claimed.
CCTV visuals of the attack had gone viral in the social media.
