raped by a man in his 30s in the Reosa area here, police said today.
According to police, the incident took place on June 12 when the 16-year-old girl had gone to her relative's place.
One Shaheen allegedly locked the girl in a room following which one Mahfooz went there and raped her, police said.
Mahfooz also allegedly threatened the girl with dire consequences in case she spoke of her ordeal to anybody, states the FIR in the case which was registered yesterday at Reosa police station after intervention by senior police officers.
Superintendent of Police Shreeparna Ganguly said that both the accused have been arrested and added that strict action will be taken against any police officials if any negligence is found on their part as alleged by the victim's family.
