18 CMDs posts in Central PSUs lying vacant

A total of 18 Chairman-cum- Managing Directors post in top Central Public Sector Undertakings, including NHPC, National Minerals Development Corporation, are lying vacant, Rajya Sabha was informed today.
"At present 18 posts of CMDs of Central PSUs of Schedule 'A' and 'B' are vacant," Minister of State for Personnel V Narayanasamy said in a written reply.
Those PSUs where the CMDs posts are lying vacant include Minerals Metal Trading Corporation, National Fertilisers Ltd, National Hydro-electric Power Corporation, NMDC, Shipping Corporation of India, National Textiles Corporation and Power Finance Corporation.
