18-year-old girl found dead at home

A teenage girl was today found dead at her home in Dasna area here, with parents saying she was electrocuted while ironing clothes, even as police said they will be probing all angles, including that of murder.
Neighbours of the 18-year-old girl said she was in a relationship with a youth of same locality and the two were planning to get married.
The family, however, was against it, neighbours said.
Police said they were told by girl's parents that she died of electric shock this morning while ironing the cloths.
When asked about her reported relationship with the youth, police said although prima facie it appeared to be an accidental death, but all angles will be probed.

"We are awaiting the post-mortem report to ascertain the cause of her death," a senior police officer said.
