18-yr-old hacked to death

An 18-year-old boy was hacked to death allegedly by a man who was furious to see him in his daughter's room at Kheora area here, police said today.
The incident took place yesterday when Rambabu found Ravi with his 17-year-old daughter in her room, they said.
The boy was first severely beaten up by Rambabu who in a fit of rage then hacked him to death, police said, adding, the daughter along with her sister tried to save Ravi but in vain.
The girl then informed Ravi's family who ran to the spot.
Rambabu had meanwhile escaped from the scene of crime, police said.

The boy's family, however, said that their son was not in a relationship with Rambabu's daughter. They alleged that the accused along with his son and son-in-law forcibly took Ravi along and killed him later, police said.
A case has been registered against three persons, including Rambabu, in this connection. He and his two relatives are absconding and efforts are on to nab them, they said.
Rambabu is a history-sheeter, police added.
