19-year-old boy rapes sixth standard girl student

An 11-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a boy in a hostel near here today, police said.
The girl, a Class VI student at a government school, was staying in the hostel where the 19-year-old boy was doing a teacher training course.
The matter came to light after authorities found the girl writhing in pain and sent her to a doctor for check-up where it was confirmed that she was raped, sources said.
The boy has been arrested, police said, adding the girl has been admitted to hospital.
