The adivasi woman was returning from Binnaguri market to her home near Maraghat forest last evening when she was kidnapped by some miscreants.
She was found senseless and soaked in blood this morning in the Maraghat forest.
The police said it appeared she was tortured and raped by a gang.
She was first taken to a local hospital and from there to the North Bengal Medical College Hospital in Siliguri.
One person was arrested in connection with the incident.
