Manjeet Singh, who was absconding for the past 14 years was arrested from a village in R S Pura area of Jammu, police said.
Singh, a timber smuggler, had fled the state after being continuously chased by the police and was apprehended when he visited his native village to meet his relatives, they added.
Another criminal, identified as Channo, involved in various criminal cases registered with Channi Himmat police station, was arrested from Arnia area of the city, police said.
