The Uttar Pradesh police today arrested two persons for allegedly sexually assaulting a health worker here in the district.
However, the third unidentified accused still remains at large, Station House Officer (SHO) KPS Chahal said.
The two accused, identified as Sanjit and Pervez, have been arrested and search is on to nab the third accused, the officer said.
The Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHA) worker was yesterday sexually assaulted at Mansorpur village during a local pulse polio drive.
Notably, several health workers had also staged a protest at the local police station demanding immediate arrest of the perpetrators.
