2 boys drown in Balasore district
Two minor boys of a family drowned Wednesday in a pond in Balasore district, police said.
The incident happened at Narayanpur village under Bhograi block of the district.
After a long search, their bodies were retrieved from the pond, police said. They were taken to a nearby hospital where the doctors declared them "brought dead".
Hospital sources said the boys slipped into the pond while playing near their home.
