2 die in accidents in Ghaziabad

Two persons, including a woman, died in separate accidents here, police said today.
A 35-year-old woman died after being hit by a car in Loni area here.
Rekha, a resident of Raghyunathpuri was crossing the road yesterday morning along with her seven-year-old son when she was hit by a speeding car, SHO Virender Yadav said.
She was rushed to a nearby hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
The car has been seized and the minor driver taken into custody.
Police are trying to ascertain the age of the accused based on the claim of his father.

In the other incident, a man died and two others were severely injured after two trucks collided with each other at GT road in Sahibabad here.

The victims were rushed to the hospital where the driver, Mukesh succumbed to his injuries.
His body has been sent for post-mortem and investigation is underway, police added.
