Two girls, including a minor, went missing from a forest area in south Kashmir's Anantnag district after they had gone there to graze their sheep, police said today.
Family members of the girls lodged a complaint in this regard after they failed to return from Palnar forests in Pahalgam area yesterday, 100 km from here, a police official said.
According to the official, the girls, aged 20 and 16, who are residents of nearby Brai Ashmuqam village, had gone to the forests to graze their sheep.
Police has launched a search operation to trace them, he said.
