2 held as gang of arms supplier busted in UP

Police today claimed to have busted a gang of arms supplier here following arrest of two persons and seizure of a cache of arms and ammunition from their possession.
Sarvan Kumar and Iqbal were arrested and five pistols, a gun and a large number of cartridges were seized from them by the officials of the New Mandi police station, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Deepak Kumar told reporters.
During interrogation, they have "confessed" to their involvement in illegal arms trade, the SSP claimed.
