Imat Kumar of Roopnagar and Ramesh Kumar of Jagti Narotam area met with the accident on Batote-Kishtwar National Highway.
"Driver of the car, which was on its way to Doda from Jammu, perhaps lost control and the vehicle skidded-off the road and fell into the gorge at Khellani Nullah at 9 AM," said Senior Superintendent of Police, Doda, Zahid Naseem Manhas.
"Police, with the help of locals, evacuated both the passengers who were badly trapped in boulders and rushed them to District Hospital Doda where doctors declared them brought dead," the officer said.
