2 killed as wall of water tank collapses

Two persons -- a woman and a minor girl -- died when the wall of a water tank collapsed at Tumudibandha in Odisha Kandhamal district today, police said.
Both the victims died on the spot as the water tank caved in at the house of one Balabhadra Rout of Tumudibandha, said B D Rout the IIC, Tumudibandha Police Station.
The incident took place at about 6.30 AM today when both the woman and a girl were engaged in domestic work.
The deceased have been identified as Pravati Dalapati 26, and Jagyaseni Dalapati 12.
Both bodies have been sent to Balliguda Sub Divisional hospital for autopsy.
