commandos and Assam Rifles apprehended one militant of the proscribed PLA from Kakching Lamkhai in Manipur's Thoubal district last night, a press release issued by Manipur police said today.
The militant has been identified as Khumukcham Sushil Singh (25).
One 9mm pistol and one magazine along with 3 live rounds of 9 mm ammunition were seized from him, the press release said.
Earlier on October 10, another combined team of Thoubal Police and 2 AR arrested one cadre of PREPAK from Wanging in Thoubal district.
He was identified as one self-styled corporal Khundrakpam Basanta alias Biren (45) of Khangabok Part-III Tangkha Leikai area.
