Two senior employees of a thermal power plant died and three were injured after their car collided head-on with a bus in Haryana's Hisar district on Saturday, police said.
The incident occurred on the Barwala-Jind road near Mirchpur village -- around 40 km from here -- in the morning. They were travelling from from Jind to the Khedar power plant in the district when a private bus collided with their car while overtaking a tractor-trailer, the police said.
Gaurav Singla (34) and Virender Goyal, sub-divisional officers of the Rajiv Gandhi Thermal Power Plant, died on the spot and three persons were injured, the police added.
