2 sharp shooters arrested in Greater Noida

Two sharp shooters of Dujana gang who had kidnapped and killed a doctor in Hapur were arrested, police said today.
Detailed interrogation of Kidhore Meerut resident Vikrant Gurjar alias Jony and Bisrakh resident Mohit Gurjar alias Chanpal revealed they had kidnapped the doctor D S Verma on October 13 and later shot him dead and threw his body in a river.
"Last night, on a tip-off, two Dujana gang sharp shooters were arrested. On October 13, they had kidnapped Dr D S Verma from his farm house in Ghar area. They then took him to Mistripur village and shot him dead. They had taken contract money of Rs 20 lakh to kill the doctor," Bisrakh Kotwali in-charge Rashid Ali said.
Land dispute was the cause of murder of doctor, he said.
Jony and Chanpal are also involved in several cases of loot and murder, he added.
