Chittoor District Superintendent of Police Kanthi Rana Tata told PTI that "Bilal Malik was brought to Puttur town as part of further investigation."
The Tamil Nadu police personnel produced him before a court in connection with a case booked against him and another suspect Panna Ismail and he was later taken back to Chennai, another police officer said.
