Police today arrested 21 farmers in connection with a clash that broke out between two groups over a minor dispute at Ramkore village in Shamli district, an official said.
Yesterday, a clash broke out between the farmers of Ramkore village in Uttar Pradesh and the farmers of Nanheda village in Haryana, said Circle Officer Rajive Kumar Tiwari.
He said 25 people were booked and 21 others were arrested in this regard.
Meanwhile, extra police force has been deployed near the areas at the Uttar Pradesh-Haryana border in Shamli district to avoid any untoward incident, he said.
