According to police, one Avdhesh Singh, who used to work in a private company, last night took the extreme step at his residence.
At around 10.30 P.M. Last night, Avdhesh's elder brother Shivendra discovered his brother hanging from a ceiling fan, Sihani Gate SHO Ashok Shishodia said. Avdhesh was rushed to hospital where doctors declared him dead, he added.
The SHO said that an alleged suicide note has been recovered from the house in which Avdhesh has blamed one Swapan for taking the step.
An FIR has been registered against Swapan and a search is on to nab him, the SHO added.
