26-yr-old woman raped in Muzaffarnagar

A 26-year-old woman was allegedly raped and beaten up by a man here at Maharaj Nagar village which comes under the jurisdiction of Bhopa Police Station, an official said today.
The incident took place last evening when the victim was in her fields, SP (Rural) Ajay Sehdev said.
Acting on a complaint lodged by the victim's husband, police registered an FIR against the accused.
