3 arrested with fake notes worth over Rs 11 lakh

Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) of Uttar Pradesh Police today arrested three persons with fake Indian currency notes (FICN) worth over Rs 11 lakh from sector-67 crossing in Nodia district.
The accused Jahid Alam, Mohammad Intesham and Inzamulhaq were arrested by the ATS team with FICN worth 11.7 lakh, an official release issued here said.
During interrogation the accused told ATS that the notes used to come from Pakistan and landed in West Bengal from where they used to bring these, it stated.
A further investigation is on in the matter.
