The policemen sustained minor injuries and one person was arrested in this connection, police said.
According to police, a team of officials had gone to the village to settle a dispute between Vipin Gupta and some youths.
The youths, who were led by Titu Mishra having several cases registered against him, pelted stones at the policemen, injuring three of them, they said.
Additional police force reached the spot after which Mishra was arrested, they said, adding that a search was on for other accused who are absconding.
