3 killed, 5 hurt as jeep hit by train

Three persons were today killed and five others injured when a jeep was hit by a train in Khukhundu area, police said.
Laxman (35), Vijay Prakash (36) and Subhash (55) were killed when the jeep carrying eight passengers got stuck in the railway track near Aghaila village and was hit by Intercity Express this evening, they said.
Police said five persons were seriously injured and were admitted to the district hospital.
The train was stranded for almost an hour following the incident.
