The incident occurred last night on the Chamoli-Bairaskund road when the six persons were returning from a wedding ceremony and their vehicle went out of control, skidding into a 20-feet-deep pit, they said.
Two persons, including the woman, died on the spot while the third succumbed to injuries at the hospital, Chamoli police station in charge Prashant Bahuguna said.
The injured are undergoing treatment at the district hospital, police said, adding probe is on to ascertain the cause of the accident.
