3 new cases to swine flu found in national capital

Three new cases of swine flu were reported in the national capital today, with this the total number of people affected by the virus in the city this year has risen to 28.
"Those affected include two women aged 46 and 52, residents of New Delhi and Paschim Puri localities and a 30-year-old man from Krishna Nagar," Additional Director (Public Health) at Delhi Health Department, Charan Singh said.
He said that the 46-year-old woman was undergoing treatment at Pushpanjali hospital while the other two were under home care.
Yesterday, three persons, including a mother-son duo, had tested positive for swine flu.

According to the health department, the total number of swine flu cases in December has now risen to 12.
The Union Health Minister J P Nadda today reviewed the situation arising out of reports of swine flue in the country.
"The Health Minister said that there is no cause to panic. Advisories have been issued to states of Delhi and Uttar Pradesh for close monitoring of the situation and the state governments have been asked to take prompt action for correct and effective diagnosis and treatment.
"They have been advised to have sufficient stocks of medicines and consumables. The IDSP network had been advised to promptly report cases to central govt. The situation is being closely monitored," said a senior Health Ministry official.
