The three newly-inducted ministers in Haryana government will be given portfolios by tomorrow, a senior minister in state government said today.
The ministers in the Manohar Lal Khattar government were alloted official rooms in the state secretariat building on Friday. However, they were not alloted portfolios.
Haryana Education Minister Ram Bilas Sharma said there was no delay in allotment of the portfolios and the newly inducted ministers will get their Departments by tomorrow.
"By tomorrow, they will get the portfolios," Sharma, the five-time MLA from Mahendergarh, told PTI today.
Krishan Lal Panwar (Cabinet rank), Ghanshyam Saraf (Minister of state with Independent charge) and Nayab Singh Saini (Minister of state) were inducted as ministers in the BJP government in the state led-by Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on July 23.
The ministers have toured their respective Assembly constituencies after being sworn-in and are likely to attend office here tomorrow.
61-year-old Khattar had taken oath as the first Chief Minister of the BJP government in the state on October 26 last year at a function held at Panchkula. The saffron party wrested power from the Congress in the state Assembly polls and formed the government on its own strength.
The nine ministers, who had taken the oath at the ceremony in Panchkula, also had to wait for three days before portfolios were alloted to them.
