3-year-old flung from terrace by inebriated father, dies

After a tiff with his wife, a 40-year-old inebriated man allegedly threw his infant son from the first floor of his house leading to his instant death in Shabhupura Colony here.
The three-year-old child was rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead on arrival, police said.
The father, Mittu, is on the run.
According to the complaint lodged by his wife, Mittu came drunk from work last night and got involved in a fight with her.
Later, Mittu picked up the infant, Lucky, and flung him from the terrace of the first floor, a senior police official said.

Police said that based on the complaint filed by Mittu's wife, a case has been registered against him.
A hunt to nab him was on, they said.
