According to a complaint filed by a woman, a resident of Ballabgarh in Faridabad, her daughter was harassed by Rahul, a neighbour, on September 27 after he took her to the terrace of her house.
After some time, she heard her daughter cry and rushed to the terrace. The girl then told her about the incident.
A case was registered at the women police station at Sector-16, Faridabad under provisions of section 376 of IPC and section 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.
Investigating officer Rajbala said police have started investigations into the case.
