3 youth involved in cattle, car theft cases arrested

Three youths have been arrested for their alleged involvement in cases of theft of cattle and automobiles in Delhi and Haryana, police said today.
The trio-- Nizam (22), Zuber (20) and Md Ajeem (22)-- was arrested from Swaroop Nagar by the crime branch of Delhi Police and a stolen car, a country-made pistol and two live cartridges were recovered from their possession.
The accused youths were involved in cases of cattle theft in Delhi and motor vehicle thefts in Haryana.
Acting on specific information, a team of crime branch officers apprehended them yesterday while they were travelling in a stolen car modified with heavy iron bumpers to be able to withstand police barricades, police said.

The trio used to conduct recce of the area before attempting to steal and resort to using weapons at the slightest resistance.
Bhalswa Dairy Police Station has registered a case against the accused and the concerned police stations of Gurgaon and Delhi have been informed about their arrest.
