Muntaza, a resident of Arhama area of Ganderbal, died in the fire that broke out in her uncle Ghulam Ahmad Rather's house at Bon Mohallah Chenner area of Kangan yesterday, a police spokesman said.
The fire gutted the house, but it was stopped from spreading to other structures and brought under control with the help of fire tenders and locals, he said.
